In order to impact community movement, we plan, intentionally across the community, with our education partnerships, our green initiatives, our research, and our programs.
This is the ecology of a community, and the building blocks for resource equity.
The Connections
We are consistently working on new ways to connect to our neighbors and those interested in equity. Here is what we have so far.
Green Teens
Working collaboratively to help develop mindful youth who understand the importance of local ecology both in the natural world and among each other.
Outdoor Education
We have developed an outdoor education program which serves schools, corporate partners, organizations and individuals seeking to learn more about the natural world and the ways in which it connects us all.
Racial Justice
In partnership with Psychologists for Social Responsibility, and the Racial Justice Action group, we work alongside Universities, Mental Health Practitioners, Community Organizers, Activists, and those interested in change, towards racial justice praxis.
Educational Programs and Teacher Development
We are working to develop partnerships which will help foster new approaches to teaching and learning, and create pathways for educators from the community to serve in the community. We hope to begin this cultivation of mindful classrooms soon!
As we work help cultivate youth with rich ecologic understandings, we understand that those skills must be connected to new approaches to practical skills including finance, college prep, and entrepreneurship.
Growth lies in community connection. Lateral interdependence means shared responsibility and trust that together we can reduce external vulnerabilities and grow strong.
Racial Justice Action Group
The Racial Justice Action Group partnership with Ecologic Outreach formed as a result of the natural alignment between the two organizations. Justice is born of intentional community ecologies. When we support each other and build together we grow strong. We are proud to have participated in the Racial Justice in Praxis Conference for 3 years in a row, providing outdoor education, conference sessions, and even food! We look forward to the return of the conference in -person soon.
Psychologists for Social Responsibility
Psychologists for Social Responsibility is the parent organization for the Racial Justice Action Group. Ecologic Outreach works together with many community psychologists who are a part of both the parent organization, as well as the organization’s Racial Justice Action Group.
Having the opportunity to be a part of such an amazing overlapping effort has taught us so much. The people that we met and the connections that we formed makes us grateful for RJAG and the RJIP Experience.

Taking an international perspective, our goal is to actively counter everything that is wrong in the world, stemming from racism -- anything that psychologically messes with, cheats, distorts, and corrupts our natural understandings of equity, where the rules of the game, for all individuals or groups, should be fair and equal.
